| | | | If people are interested, I could put a java IRC program on my server so people can access it without needing to dload a program.
Tho I recommend you use an external program; and if you have Mozilla Firefox, you can use the Chatzilla extension.

| | | | Well, Firefox is faster than Mozilla and generally better if you are looking for just a good browser. And since Chatzilla is only 175kb extension, you don't need to dload all the Mozilla package just to add this function. | | | | |
|
| | | | Well if someone already has Mozilla (not firefox) then they can use the Chatzilla that comes with that. I started using Mozilla when firefox had like... just came out, so I never got firefox. I think we can settle this which browser is better argument right here in this thread. Doesn't matter what people choose to use, because they are all better than IE. | | | | |
|
| | | | Hehe, I finally broke myself off of IE. I now use Mozilla. | | | | |

| | | | It doesn't matter which one you use, as long as it isn't IE we're all happy | | | | |

| | | | I would even be happy if you were to use IE, but I'm a happy guy. | | | | |

| | | | No! Not IE! AIIIEEE!!!!
Internet Eradicator. Internet Emergency-maker. Ugh!
You know, I was always satisfied with IE.. But since I've got Firefox, i can't go back to it.. I keep trying to use mouse gestures in it when I open it.. :S
I even voted for having Firefox installed at my school. But do they ever listen to me? No! Never!

| | | | I retitled the thread... maybe a few newbies will notice it better.
EDIT: Let's get back on topic, people

| | | | I'll look at some alternatives. So far I found a good Java Client that works. Seems to show the IP address of the person so you might be able to ban them. And so forth. I'll keep you updated. | | | | |

| | | | If you wanna use it, let me know and I'll post the link for everyone. Lets see if this one's alittle better. | | | | |
|
| | | | Now that the site has returned, I'd like to reiterate the importance of having a method of communication in case of site problems such as recently happened. I suspect that without such a method, the community would have fallen apart.
I strongly urge people to start using IRC more. For a start, it isn't dependant on EZ-Web-Hosting for its operation. *stops before he starts slagging off Frespych*

| | | | That's so true. It helped a lot and it's clear for everyone. Come to IRC, people: it won't eat you. | | | | |

|
| | | | I try to keep downtime as low as I can, and also try to give a warning on here when it's going to happen...unless it's beyond my control, such as if NTL screws around. | | | | |
