@perryrhodan - a graphically disturbing fact, but one I relish now knowing, stupid bovines...
@n5corp - green tea fan myself and give tibetan incence a try
@Fth - I can wholly relate to your malaise; whenever I feel this way, I either go work abroad for a bit or run around my neighbourhood butt-naked; whatever works for you...

oh, and "America's Army" is agit-prop for the actual US military, boycott the damn thing!!! then again, I imagine that you do not care...

Well, it finally finished downloading. Installed it and gave the marksmanship training a go. Nice!

Can't wait to start playing online... gotta postpone that till tomorrow tho.

Okay, I had to search for the meaning of "agitprop", and found its meaning here: Children Books of the Early Soviet Era

And just look at those pretty constructivist drawings
written by Voumtak on Aug 23, 2004 22:26

I'm tired of my life... any suggestions how to get around this? I'm not sulking or anything, I just need something to keep me motivated... My whole existence feels so run off the mill... *kicks his hormones*

Music is always fun to make. Are you good at playing any instruments, Fth?

(I play the drums, but I don't think I'm good enough to be in a band... wait, I know... drum lessons!)

I haven't touched my program for the last couple of days at least and at the moment, i don't really care... but I'll get back to it soon enough.

I'm going to dig out a book on C programming and try and do the exersizes in it. That should refresh it shouldn't it?
written by Jaxe'd on Aug 23, 2004 23:16
/me thinks he could use a bit of that, too... although I don't know C, it'd be another language I could learn...

What I'd like is a book with just lists of programming exersizes.

So you have questions? This I see and understand.
We all have questions, every race and every land.
You ask your questions and hope to understand.
But first you must listen.

Look around, wherever you may be,
And see the world around you,
The people around you,
See all that you can see.
Do this first, then listen to me.

What have you seen, what do you know?
Whether they be the workings of the atom,
Or the makings of the bowl.
All that you know relates, and connects.
Think clearly- for you must not be discouraged.
For you must look inside yourself for courage.

Look for more and you will see,
That everything is poetry.
The universe around us speaks
The answers every mind seeks.
And 'round us reflects the light,
That brings to us our little sight,
That shows us how little we really see.

Line to line, stretches on this charger,
Always, always growing larger.
As the world around us grows,
And with its growing shows,
That through the sight of intuition,
Lies reality's volition.
Seek within and understand,
The mysteries of each grain of sand.
Each one reflects the others.

So in this ballad seek to find,
The mysteries of Earth and Mind.
The paths of life and songs of sight,
The life of death and the death of death.
Seek within to find,
Seek without to know,
Act within to grow without,
Act without to grow within,
And learn the path of battles!
