Right now ownage.n00bstories.com is down or are not accepting connections.
irc.n00bstories.com usually sends you to ownage but will send to home as well.

No news from the host has been released but I will keep my eye out for info.

If you have trouble connecting change your sever to:
home.n00bstories.com
EDIT: ownage is back... I think.

It seems that no one updated the thread to point to the new server, streyalis.org (which is currently down). I've updated the first post to reflect this change.

Important: server downtime


I've received notification of emergency maintenance scheduled for the datacentre where the VPS is being hosted. For those who haven't been keeping tabs, I switched from self-hosting to a virtual server in November due to the general unreliabilty of certain ISPs around here.

A support ticket has been opened to move the VPS to an unaffected host; all that remains is for me to press the button and possibly change DNS records when it's done. Or, I could wait until 15:00 UTC tomorrow, and they'll move it automatically.

So, what do you think? Press button or let them do it?

A bit later than I thought - I guess they've been busy with things - but the VPS just shut down, and the migration is underway.

Maybe next time you'll actually reply to one of these. I don't like random reboots.
