Sure we're perhaps paying a bit too much attention to bacteria, but being exposed out of intention, believing that they'll make you stronger anyway, it's risky. I suppose some may keep your immune system in exercise, but some may just kill you.

PS I also eat what I drop, usually, assuming "bad" germs would be more difficult to catch at home

That applies to critical state of human being, like being critically injured or sick in my opinion.

George Carlin, the comedian that passed away few years ago said that he fell into some sort of "pool of poo" when he was kid and he never got sick ever since.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger....

Or like I say, what doesn't kill you hurts a damn lot.

ps. Quite a resurrection thread. I didn't remember this thread at all. :o

Astounding that I've had a similar experience when, while wandering across crops behind a house, I stumbled into a sort of open-air sewage. I was maybe 12 years old. As well, I didn't get anything from that.

Oh yes, it was me intentionally digging it out of the past, according to excessive worries of creating a redundant thread. We're now however happily off-topic...

I never got seriously sick from external factors, I even got swine flu, and when I was child I had constant inflamations, but all this were superficial (well... when I was child I had considerable pain in my throat of the inflammations, but it was nothing dangerous, just my body that had a small problem, corrected with surgery, no more problems with that...)

I had a dream where I was orphaned and met this girl and a robot floating orphanage thing of some sortm, and went on a quest to save a noctis looking planet from some evil people(we did this by killing everyone using a army similar to the one from 300). there was far more detail but now I dont remember

I'm constantly having dreams where i wander through the streets of strange futuristic city. The city seems the same every time, as the people who i meet. I even have an appartment of some sort, but it has uncomfy feeling to it like someone else is living there besides me, though i have no idea who he/she is

I have other wierd dreams too... for example the one where i find myself lost in multistory complex of endless rooms and halls, with out-of-this-world interior, often dismantled and abandoned.

Actually, this sounds great. I'm often lost somewhere in my dreams, but always in ordinary places, usually uninteresting exteriors. I bet I'd enjoy something like what you describe, at least after waking up.

I have lots of awesome dreams. I rarely have recurring dreams though, and if I do I usually only have the dream one other time, from another point of view.

I never have recurring dreams, although I may have a dream that follows on from a past dream, but that's rare.

Last night, I dreamed that I took my brother and sister home in the car, but then I woke up (in the dream) and couldn't remember what happened in between. I found them both asleep in a dumpster behind the house after some searching. They apparently just felt like it.

About recurring dreams, I do remember one series of dreams which I really love. They're about strange airplanes. Many years ago, in several dreams I were sitting down outside and waiting along with my parents, looking at the sky. Eventually a large number of colorful, beautiful airships appeared, covering the whole sky and moving very slowly. Sometimes the dream would also show the next day after this peculiar parade and I'd see a zeppelin hovering near my house. This dream evokes such a sense of wonder that I always have tears in my eyes while recalling it.

Even better: when a bit older, I had a few dreams when I were visiting my family and trying to get back home before the airshow starts! Some solitary planes would even show up in preparation. And lately, in one of my dreams a lot of jet planes appeared suddenly, I just watched them make acrobations and wept from nostalgia, because from some reason I were aware of the earlier dreams and their meaning to me. In some ways, this was one of the most beautiful moments in my life.

Very familar and warm feeling, and vividly described too.
