this is the first multiple system I've seen with the suns this color, I haven't explored the planets yet, but the pics are awesome.

(the cool part is "the deepest point" is 47.71 l.y. from this star...for those of you who know that system)

this next pic shows a second sun and a companion star.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0046.jpg

upon inspecting the companion star I noticed another small light.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0047.jpg

and it turns out to be another companion star!

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0049.jpg

....but the weird part is, the companion star is so far flung from the HUGE sun you saw in the first pic.......that star appears as nothing more that a blurry dot.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0050.jpg

upon further, further inspection....what do I find so far flung from the sun...next to the companion star?....look....

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0051.jpg

Do some planets revolve faster in tis game....I've never thought about it until now, because the planet appers to be moving very fast.

Hmmmm....I think I just found the answer to my question...since I have noctis running in the background....when I returned to the game....look how far it went down it's orbit.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0052.jpg

look at those suns!

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0053.jpg

planet three has a very large ring.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0054.jpg

this just got better!.....another multi-system is only 8.30 l.y. from the place I was talking about above!

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0057.jpg

the coolest part is that the place I was talking about above can actually be seen as a bright blue light from the place I just discovered.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0058.jpg

this is weird....I went to the 3rd planet of this new system, it is very far from the sun

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0062.jpg

it is very close to a companion star from the system I first mentioned....this is the first time I've seen two multi systems so close together that the stars and planets run together...making the orbits confusing....

this is how far the planet is from it's own sun...

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0060.jpg

and this is how close it is to the companion star from the other system....

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a96/EvilDunsparce/SNAP0061.jpg

.....so the planet is closer to a companion star from another system than it is to it's own sun.....wouldn't that cause messed up orbits because of the gravity from companion star?

wow! very nice pics! : D

I have a suggestion for you: since you're probably going to post here many links of your discoveries, perhaps that it would be a good idea to have a single thread for them, instead of open a new one for each group of pics.
Something like "Tacogeddon discoveries"... (or if you have a better/original idea for the title..? : P )
So we can locate all your pics in a single place. : )

I also have my own discovery thread, and some other members too.

even if I didn't posted new pictures in my own from many weeks now.. »¦ P
It's a load of time that I don't play NIV.. my ship will be surely out of fuel and with big webs and spiders running everywhere.. »: /

....true......this thread was supposed to start about some cool colored systems and the planets that orbit......but it turned into a discovery thread about two multi systems

maybe I'll make my "discovery thread" when I take another.....50 pics or so....
