 | |  | | ![]() Ive been playin around with makin gifs over the last couple weeks and i wanna start designing new silies for this forum, but im fresh out of ideas. ive added a couple new smilies already, like the ninja  and they cyclops alien thing  (i also added the dead smilie  but i didnt make it). but i know this community is willin to help, so i need ideas. | |  | |  |

 | |  | | ![]() While I, even though I am an Administrator, am amused enough to use personal smilies, the community tends to frown on filling the emoticons list. You can, however, load them into your own personal gif files in the Community Disk (they usually don't take much space there and then you can access them when you want using <cd/gifs/phreakcustom/[insert file name here]>
Of course, if you want to use the emoticons with FREQUENCY, it probably is OK to load them to the list...

Oh well i guess thats good to know, i didnt know it would be a problem. well scratch the idea of making them for the community, but ill probably still make them for myself then. 
who knows maybe i could just build a site to host the smilies and the community can judge and pic em to be used. i dunno, i guess i just need a project to work towards something positive  | | | | |

 | |  | | ![]() Sounds like a good thing to do, yeah. The smileys look nice. I especially like the cyclops! One thing you could try is adding some shadow to them and maybe some detail into the black of the ninja smiley (or just try to make him look less jagged). | |  | |  |

Yeah i need to add some shadows and more details, but those were just trial runs. And i was gonna add more detail to the ninja but i never got around to it, i was gonna make it withdraw a sword, but didnt take the time. I appreciate your help though | | | | |
