| | | | Earth: "Raiford (The Felon Wind)" from "Hex, Or Printing in the Infernal Method".
I feel this music doesn't fit so well in a Noctis session exploring planets surfaces.....because you are the Felisian planet (band's name is Earth, and I assure you: they sound as 'eartlhy' as their name hints).
I've been told that in their latest album there's Bill Frisell playing in many songs, have to buy it!

 | | | | Lava Reach by Jivemaster It's a rearrangement of the Sonic and Knuckles lava level music.
My entire playlist (almost) is made of videogame music rearrangements. The list is huge and entirely free .

| | | | Lots of 8 bit videogames music.
Though I was am a C=64 owner and the SID has so much charisma, I can't really listen to 99% of SID music, not even the big names. Crappy commercial music! Japanese NES composers are the true masters here: Castlevania (I, II, III), Megaman (I, II), Punch Out, Metroid. Megaman II being the absolute winner.

y. | I admit that the choice of the word "commercial" wasn't that happy, in particular there's no way why also the games' music I talked about can't be considered "easy listening", too. By the way, we're taling of personal sensibility, so I won't argue so much over your musical tastes.
The fact is that I find the music from those NES games to be awesome when heard alone, while most C=64 games' tunes are "just great" for being videogames music.
And just for your information, I have all the HVSC collection, trackers that emulate the C=64 and NES music chips and the greatest program of all times: Cybertracker for C=64. Add the fact that I lived the 8 bit era and you'll see that I'm quite prepared on the argument.
Somewhere in the depths of the forum there are some of my music interests. I'm pretty damn nazi about music, so I know I use to trash 95% of the world music history. Don't get offended, it's me that I am highly critical.

| | | | ah, ok. : P nevermind.
I found "commercial" and "99%" a bit too much for such special class of music.. It's like to say it's a shit. duh! : P
no problem. it was just to be sure you know what you're talking about. and since you know it.. : P hmm.. so I guess it's a question of personal taste or something.
boh.. nevermind.
by my side I'm not going to say anything about nes since I played just a couple of games.
