Ok, that's it.
How the flabbergasting hell can I turn off this damn Windows Vista security crap? It's not just those dumb prompts that ask me if the computer can run a program. I'm trying to upload something to the C-Disk and this thing won't let me because I don't have the proper "Access Rights."
Even if the problem doesn't have anything to do with Vista, I'd still like some answers, for either question. (or statement implied to be a question)
Couldn't save "cd/jpgs/WZVelL9fhk5eO0t3RnUhhA4hj1.jpg". There may be troubles with access rights for that directory or file, or some other problems concerning files' management in the server's PHP environment.
Thats not a Vista problem, at least the CDisk one, CDisk is broken, and won't be fixed until Alex returns.
Well that was quick.
No wonder everyone in the desktop thread is posting links to other websites.....
I'd still like to know how to shut off the security prompts.... if such an undertaking is indeed possible.
I don't have Vista, so you are on your own there.
I find it hilarious. First people complain about the lack of security in Windows, then the complain about the added security in Windows.
Start here if you want to turn off the permission requests.
Oh, I should mention that if you are continuously hounded by messages, turning it off really won't solve the problem.
I never complained about the lack of security. If I had a lack of security, then I would quietly download some anti-virus programs (among other things).
The messages, by the way, don't come up unless I do something, if that's what you meant.
