Alright, I considered putting this somewhere else... but its just whatever fun for me!

Part One: Adventures with DSorganize and its IRC client
Here you see my DS (my second DS, don't ask):

You also see a bed, a sub, a tandy computer, and a floor. Exit is west.

Here you see a familiar IRC server:

Hello everyone!

Oh em gee, idle anyone?

It's surprisingly easy to type on the touch screen. DSorganize has excellent controls!

i'm using a rather cheap slot-1 device called Games 'N Music that is actually carried in some Walmarts for 20 bucks. it poses a few problems that the 40 to 50 dollar devices don't have. but, the major 'homebrewers' have made accommodation's for the datel Games 'N More.
i have long wanted a gameboy cart device to run some of my own programming on. when i saw the potential of the DS i finally made myself get a device to run homebrew.

My DS is no longer charging. Maybe my charger is fried. Desperation and sadness. Woe

I love DSOrganize. The web browser leaves much to be desired, but the IRC client is great!

Less than a year, so I'm really quite miffed at this. Though I really do suspect the charger. It's not a Nintendo one, because they don't manufacture one that matches Israeli plugs.

I recently got an Onyx Black DS Lite, though I don't have a flash cart for it yet. The M3 Real looks good, so I might get one of those. The Real comes in three bundles, one of which just includes a rumble pack, while another has a rumble ram pack that can be used with the Opera browser and some homebrew. A third 'perfect bundle' includes rumble and a GBA pack, which adds GBA rom and homebrew support, along with additional ram. The addon cartridges seem to be designed for the Lite, so anyone with an older DS would need to add a separate unit for extra ram, GBA compatibility, and rumble. Here's a review of the M3 Real, with more details.
