I don't know whether anyone here uses Stage 6, but in two days the site will be permanently shut down, apparently due to bandwidth costs. I wrote a very quick and dirty python script to download the videos, since the player doesn't work under Linux. This certainly is far from perfect, and there may be already something which does this better, but I thought I might as well post it here, in case it might be useful to someone, given that it will be obsolete after the 28th... Usage:
./Stage6Download.py <url of video>
to download a single video, or
./Stage6Download.py <file with multiple URLs - must end in newline>
to download sequentially multiple videos.

or here:
cd/zips/Tom/stage6download (1 Kb)
This is untested under windows, but it may work, provided that the utility "wget" is in your path, and you remove the shebang line...

Edit: Does not work on videos with a forward slash in the title.

Hopefully some other site with high-quality videos will take its place...in the meantime, I just tested the script under Windows and it works fine without modification - of course, it does require wget and python to be on your system.
wah... waall-eee

The videos are all still there, you just can't access them via the web interface anymore. Direct links to the videos (.divx files) still work, at least for now...you could probably get them via Google cache.
