Hi, I just decided that I wanted to start playing Noctis again, hovever when I tried to run it I got, this message. "NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal operation", and it just closes it.

Please help, I miss the feeling of being lost in space for hours on end.

First, is the path Noctis is at too long? try putting it at C:\Noctis\ . Think this has happened to me before.

List some information about your hardware, OS, etc. I probably can't help you much but other people might be able to if you list some things like that.

Have you run Noctis on this system before? Also, are you trying to start the original Noctis or Noctis IV CE (NICE)? If you are using, or would like to use NICE, there's a Windows port of it that shouldn't bring up that error. You'll need to get release 11 from the Noctis IV CE Releases thread, and then install the patch I linked to here just the other day.
