I just got a new computer that seems to be the best PC i've ever owned. I went to download noctis, both regular and NICE, and when I started them up.... It just crashes. No error message or anything. It has worked on my other two PCs, one of them running XP, but not this one. Please help!

So is this new PC running XP?
Also, you really have to list details about your computer if you expect others to be able to help you.

Yes, it has XP. And I shouldn't have to list the specs, it ran on my older pc that had a 400mhz prosseser and 255 mb of RAM.

Yes you should.
Always list specs.
It's not about how powerful the computer is. It's about what you're running the game on.
Anyway, it's probably just a flaw in NICE.
I think there are threads for this kind of thing.

Noctis IV runs like poop on my 500mhz PC, so I wonder how well it'd run on your 400mhz..
Either way, specs are useful, as software tends to not run the same on all hardware.. Although, Noctis and NICE being quite old, the hardware specs are probably not very relevant and useful.
Anyways, try running noctis.exe (the one in the MODULES folder) through a commandline, to see if it sends you a 'hidden' errormessage...
EDIT: make sure that the pathname to the noctis executable isn't long (don't put noctis in your 'documents and settings' folder)..
