hello there

I've liberated a friend's laptop of Vista.
However, I also seem to have liberated it from Microsoft Office.
I could possibly get my mother to borrow a copy of Office, but that's just work.
Work is bad.

I'mma see if my friend likes Open Office.
However, she will probably need templates for stuff like presentations.

Open Office is downloading now.
However, I have never really used it myself.
Can someone tell me if it comes with any templates or clipart?
Does that template pack that openoffice.org offers have much?
Does anyone have any awesome tips on where to get templates?

thanks for your time

Openoffice is actually pretty nice. It includes just about all of the functionality found in Office.

OpenOffice does include some templates, called 'Wizards' in the File menu. You can install the Template Pack for more.

You can add clip art through the Gallery, but I don't think Openoffice comes with very much. You can get a pack containing more from the Open Clip Art Library though, and install it as outlined here.
