|Er... there's been this long absence of significant changes, ok.|
Anyway, I've been working a few hours at solving several Postline problems, among which the glitch Shadowlord reported and concerning the "force logout" button when that was the last seen URL of the left frame.
The most interesting change is the "back in style" of an optimized search indexing, and the search function across the forums. Unfortunately, the period of time that went from the first post in this "news" page, to the actual date, isn't covered by words indexs, so search results will never match messages written in that period. It was really necessary to shut it down until optimized, or it may have overloaded the server's CPU time, I hope you understand.
One further nice change is the "plus" sign showen above member names in the status line: it now reflects exactly which members have chosen to show the chat frame by clicking "show frespych", and which did not. It exactly reacts to pressing the links of the top navigation bar that hide or show the chat frame. This is pretty useful to know, to avoid addressing to people who may appear in the status line but who are not seeing what goes on in the chat.
However, I take the occasion to remember the recently added "irc chat" link, which is a pretty good alternative IMO, and probably the only alternative to a 7-lines "quasi-chat" display updating every 7 seconds rather than in real-time (like IRC).
uhm... might be all, have fun!
ps. (later): nope, the + sign doesn't work when re-entering the site with a cookie to auto-log-in. will fix soon.
oh, and the inbox... I have to remember it for next time.
