Anyone up for making a game?

I got this game (or whatever) idea:

A big universe like noctis (just in 2d) where you draw everything you want, put in functions (a script?), give it a object type (vehicle, organic, monolitjic, symbolic, anything) then it will dump into your inventorealm (big never endingbag). then dump it on a planet or such or in orbit of something. living objects should be: NPC (object living on its own pace) Mergeable, avatar (for players). i would call it: Metaverse.

Post what you want, but it should be about my idea

Ps. Couldnt we implement Box2d?

Poll: Should we use Grant Kots soft-body/fluid engine?

Remember, i am crappy in programming so help me with this, we are a team a TEAM.

A sandbox where you make your own universe sounds like fun.

Wait, that sounds kind of familiar!

Seriously, that's not a bad idea. The drawing should be intuitive, though, for people like me who can't actually draw.

Any language Ideas? What's the full range of features you intend to have?

Reckon each person will want their own planet (if they're small)?

The title makes it sound as though you're asking for people to help you make this, right? I'd like to help if it's Java, C++... um... GameMaker... hmm... I'm sure I know more languages...

Changing the poll questions didn't reset the previous votes. Good thing mine (I think) is on Java.

I'd be keen to watch and give creative advice/feedback but I'm not doing any coding. I'll leave that to you, Onforty.

One thing is: that i am only an modder, i cant create actual programs (or games) as i dont know anything about how to make graphics.
Anyway,
New pool: Should we use grant kots fluid angine? i got the source on my computer so we can use it as long as we follow the GNU license.

Edit: Post your ideas, mockups, drawings, sources everything that could support this.
Edit2: i recommend that you use N++ editor, it would become useful if you need to open a file Notepad dosent supports.

Well, this is your idea, right? Aren't you supposed to be first to do this?

That's not really a problem. Some of the best looking games are done really simply (i.e. non-realistic). Everything could be done wireframe if that makes it easy. Could just add a few effects to make it look interesting.

ok.
my idea where that you could configure the properties of the object.
another idea is:

Security differences.

In single player you can edit and make as much as you want.

But in multiplayer you will use an currency/valuta to buy a new planet size and type should make the price vary. If you try to take over an planet (woow you can drive war fare) then you need to desroy its *soul* the soul contain infomation about who owns it, who made it, and if its an piece of a planet then who and when it where destroyed by, you could sell and trade your creation too. avatars would cost in-game money too, if you just find something with an expired owner-ship then you can take it.

In single player the more advanced creatures that originally lives in metaverse could own empires and if you wanted something of them that you couldnt make yourself (too hard to make/draw because of your real-world acknowlegde/skills dosent meet up the requirements) then they could quest you or you could destroy them.

now i mentioned all this warfare and dimplomacy stuff, biut this is an dream game not an war game. here comes the social stuff:

When your at an main planet (the ones the admin's own) you could show stuff to other people (aswell as if you showed it on your own or in the middle of no where) then they could rate it, higher rate=Higher price = Money!

now i telled you some of the many ideas in my game, i suggest you to make an early single player aplha so other guys here could see it.

ps. anyone here knows how to make an physics engine with rigid body n stuff like radial gravity?

Ok, a couple of things.

You are asking me to make an early alpha so that others can see it. But the thing with any idea or vision, is that only the one who has the original idea can see the vision clearly. What you have told me is very vague (for example, is this some kind of mmo?). Really, so anyone (including me) can understand it, you are the best person to make the prototype.

Also, there should be multiple prototypes. One for the physics, one for the diplomacy model, and so on. This is a big game for someone who isn't a coder. I suggest you make some small games and get some successes under your belt first. I know this game sounds cool, and i would have liked to help, but from the sound of things, I'd be the lone coder and designer. Then how would it be "your game"?

My first bit of creative input is advice. Learn to code.

I dont know.
anyway im soo bad in coding, so this would be very hard indeed.

i got alot of lame un-playable game-maker drafts nothing else
i think this will be one of the thousands of deadbirthed game ideas who just dis-appears after a moment.
i would wish someone could learn that lame java.
i cant do anything but modding linoleum programs and making crappy liberty basic office programs that cant do anything but multiplying something with 45 or something.
i think i dont fit here, im not cleiver or skilled enough to stay here. and im not even a real noctis player, in fgact i havent played noctis for week and with that lame gramma i got then it would be impossiblle for me to make something on a computer.
i think your all here is nerdyer than me i know that you all here have made thousands of art pieces and computer programs and have readed more than an little book in english (im only 12 and speak danish primary) on 500 pages filled with tasty computer information (Structured Computer Arcitechture) computer is an death trap for someone who cant wait a second, and i really really REALLY want to learn some computer shit and i have tryed tryed and tryed to make something cool or usefull even my stupid too easy to make browser was a fiasko but you know im a 12 year old boy so maybe i should just call my friends and play football with them.
