| | | | I'm New to NOCTIS. In fact I'm so new I haven't played once. That is because when I try to run it, it refuses to load.
I keep getting the message: "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:0000 IP:0077 OP:f0 37 05 12 02 Choose 'close' to terminate the application."
Clicking ignore does nothing. I have XP SP3.
If anyone knows how to fix this, I would be thankful, because NOCTIS sounds interesting and I would like to try it.

| | | | Where have you extracted it to? The best place for the Noctis folder is either C:\ or C:\Program Files. I think this error occurs because the destination path is to long for the program to handle. I have Vista (Which doesn't support full screen Dos games) so I can't check this.
That's the only advice I have.

| | | | I just tried that and it didn't work, and neither did the config.nt error alternative, so I don't think the other alternative that doesn't match the problem will work. Sorry it took so long before I tried the suggestion. | | | | |
