Except that the seers don't know what kind of seer they are.

The fact that you don't know that makes you quite suspicious, actually.

Is it possible to investigate yourself in our game?
Reading the description on the wiki, it is up to the Mod.
written by 23 on Feb 04, 2009 01:40
Well, My idea was we just vote our first search and find out. We should have all investigated the same person, I just picked the first name on the list.

Why the first name, because you are at the end of the list? Kinda suspicious to me.
When we pick one person to investigate, we should pick him randomly.

Suspicious shush-micious.

It was Night-0 and there was no discussion, so I picked the candidate that others might pick based on the probability others might use, ie position at top of list.

This seems logical to me, and the fact that you ignore any reasoned appraisal of my actions in order to draw attention towards myself makes yourself seem unreasonable.

Obviously. I will clarify. <if> we mass claim, sooner or later the scumsters are going have to counter claim. Then its only a matter of lynching the most suspicious. No pro-town would lie about their role (even if they are one of the more useless roles such as naive seer).

Hm, we might as well do it randomly. I rolled a die (well, random.olrg) and the result was a 2. L4?
I think this way will give us information. If we all target L4 we should come back with:

1 Guilty (Paranoid)
1 Innocent (Naive
1 Guilty (sane or insane)
1 Innocent (sane or insane)

Conundrum. We will not benefit at all. Maybe if everybody targets themselves?

Thoughts.

We will benefit if we then lynch the investigated person. This will tell us all what type of seer we are.

In this type of game we have to lynch once in order to get as much info as possible

hmm, nice thought. But is it possible to do that in the same night? Because that will speed things up.
Or will the investigation going wrong because we lynched him. I mean we don't know the order in which things will happen.

We no lynch today, target Draken tonight and lynch him tomorrow.

The plan isn't bad, but we must make sure the person we choose as a target is chosen randomly. For example, what if you, Trad.a, are a werewolf? Then you'd be pointing us to a townie to lynch.

Is there a method that lets us all make sure the person has been chosen randomly? Nothing comes to mind right now, but it might be because it's way past my bed time

How about we lynch the first person that proposed a certain person to lynch, which means Trad.a!

Unvoteraken
Vote: Trad.a

Hm, we might as well do it randomly. I rolled a die (well, random.org) and the result was a 2.
I've already proposed a way to truely randomly picked somebody. www.random.org does the trick.
So, to modify the plan..

we pick a random person (using random.org)
we all target them tonight
we lynch them tomorrow and share our findings.

What do you guys think?

@23, you were the one that proposed we lynch Draken in this post.

And now you are voting me because you think I am. That is terrible, terrible logic. Very suspicious, indeed.

I hope this was just a random example...

But otherwise, with the amending of the plan, sounds fine.
Though the unlucky victim may not appreciate it...

The problem is, that is random if you actually used the random.org site.

But maybe, just maybe, you are scum, and have chosen non scum, while telling us it's random to make us feel better.

I want a way that assures all of us that the pick is really random.

Night 1

As suddenly as the Werewolves arrived in the friendly, nameless town, the sun went below the horizon, and all townies went home, scared by the

prospect of being mauled by the werewolves during the night, glad that no-one got lynched.

Werewolves: choose a victim.
Seers: pick someone to investigate
