| | | | Nice shots for a start. Expand a bit and get shots of the planet, too. The star you seek may be along distance away and appear as a "fuzzy" blob of light located at, just possibly, a great angle away from the main group of stars. Look around a bit.
With S08 multiple star systems like this, try to find "moons" to the companion stars also- they're actually planets of the stars, but since only the primary star counts that's the way the G.O.E.S. computer labels them.
[HINT: check each star for "moons". Even the "planet"/companion star number one may have a "moon". In non multiple star systems planets number one and two don't have moons. But just recently I revisited a S08 system of two stars I had explored. I thought there were no other bodies. DOH!!! It turned out the lone companion star had two "moons". One of which was a Felisian world. DOH!!!]
Keep On Stardrifting.

| | | | | Kids711 said: | | How do you post imgs without linking to other webs?.. | Note the 'cd' button at lower left. From there you can upload files(in png. jpeg. rar. zip. and 7z. format, so you'll have to convert noctis shots taken in bmp. format). After you upload a file, for example, cat.png, just insert the text below the image e.g. <cd/pngs/Kids711/cat.png> into your post.
Oh, and also a thing to note( in case you didn't know) on S08 systems; objects can be pretty far apart. And another thing; instead of manually selecting planets, after selecting local target, you can type the position and hit enter, e.g. type 3 for the third planet, or 7/9 for the 7th moon of the ninth planet.
(and while on the subject of S08s, thought I'd share this image: http://picasaweb.google.com/RyanGJK/GeneralCatnip#5336754429326329282 )

| | | | Faces, eh?
Here's more :

reminds me of the Peach-Wetwick War 50 epocs ago, when some Peach citizen started the whole fiasco by creating a constellation chart full of Wetwick warships. Isn't it amazing how we can perceive faces and stuff just about everywhere?

| | | | Here's a tip for you, Xeno: constantly harping on about what annoys people is likely to annoy people.
I know what you're getting at, and I'm not saying that you shouldn't make people aware of community guidelines, but there are different ways of doing it. I'm also not saying I'd be able to do it better than you, because as we all know, I'm the resident grump and asshole, but that's why I'm not saying anything.

| | | | You've just found something related to the Grid, a rather extensive Felisian phenomenon. I'll wait for someone adept in that area(hmm...I wonder who that could be?) to give you a short explanation. | | | | |
