| | | | It might depend on browser versions. I haven't really given the subject of which browsers work with Gopher to what degree much attention. | | | | |

| | | | Well, I can say I thankfully am not a slave of Bill. Granted, I use Windows, but that's because I'm a slave of Morrowind and the likes. Plus, that's about the only MS product I ever use... Except when stupid people make websites for IE only. Wouldn't be a problem if I didn't need to get to that site for some reason or whatever, but when I do, I grudgingly open IE.
The mail system in Opera kicks arse, by the way.

I sux at computers. Even if I would try to install it I would probably fail without someone writing me a 200 page guide or something.
2. I'm to god damn lazy. And I'm happy with I.E as it is.
Only because you don't like it you can't orce everyone else to try other stuff. I.E fits me perfectly. I'm lazy, I'm stupid, and I don't give a damn about its flaws.

As far as I can afford to, I don't go to websites if they need IE to run properly. I use it as little as possible.

 | | | | I've mentioned time and time again that I visit a number of sites, and the only web browser they ALL work right in is IE. All the other browsers I have tried break at least one, if not more, of them.
So, I use IE.
| Shadowclaw said: | | You're obvoiusly not interested in history. Gopher pre-dated the World-Wide Web by a number of years, and has fewer problems. Just because it doesn't have jazzy animated GIFs and Flash animations and stuff doesn't mean that it's bad. | Hey now. None of the HTML stuff I wrote has animated GIFs or flash animations. Pfft. Fewer problems. WHAT PROBLEMS!? I don't have any problems! The only problem is when someone tries to get me to use a shitty browser that doesn't display pages correctly! | | | | |

 | | | | WTF? Gopher can go **** itself. **** that ****. WTF is this <tt>gopher://</tt> ****, that **** doesn't work, and why the **** do they have a stupid nonexistant tag like <tt>.
<q> It gives simplified usage for sight-impaired users, same contents for wired/wiredless, and requires no capital investments in layout and "design".</q>
You mean it's all ****ing text. This site would look like ****, if it could even be done, in Gopher.
<q> Keeping documents "link clean" </q> WTF? You want me to drop hyperlinks? **** that! ****! ****!
You people are nuts. | | | | |
