| | | | Here we go:
Jan-R eyes the remote with its array of RED, ORANGE, and YELLOW shiny buttons. Oh, and the GREEN one. "Ohhhh can I try the remote!? Please?" She eyes the R&D clone eagerly.
Stu-O sems enthusiastic. Twitchy, but enthusiastic. "Grrrrrrrreat! Great! I am haaa-haaa-haaa-py-py-py-py-py to-to-to-to help-help Friend-Fri-Friend-end Computer-puter test a great new technology for our behalf, as you can see."
As he is saying that, his twitching subsides greatly, though it's still present. Either the collars is somehow reducing the twitching, or it's simply subsiding.
He begins to sound somewhat pedantic.
"So, how can I be helpfull for you my finest colleages? Also if I remember, we were about to start a mission, taking briefing in some sector, can someone please me inform me better on this matter?"
He turns to the R&D clone. "What power the collar is supposed to supress? I don't remember having any such power provenient of DNA malformation. Of course, it is not a DNA malformation, since the great Friend Computer in his highly logical might create us as clones, he must have engineering it, but still, I don't remember bearing any special gift from the Friend Computer."
"Well," Al-R says, "if that's all you remember of our mission thus-far, then you're missing quite a sizable portion of our information. Let me describe to you, in detail, of all the information we have gleaned thus far.
"Briefing's at SUX.
"There. You are now as informed as we are. Moreso, in fact, as you earlier mentioned that you come from SUX and can then, presumably, guide us to this location." He holds up the piece of paper. It still reads SUX-TNR-6-3/1.
Joris-O looks at the remote, takes it, and puts it in his backpack. "What an... interesting little device."
Grinning, he gets out his LXi again.
Turn 16
The tech smiles. "Good, now that's seen to, I will wish you luck on your mission."
And with that, he and the other R&D clones leave.
The IntSec clones stay, though. It looks like they're gettig agitated.
Moreover, the transbot is preparing to leave. You know that, because it's beeping. You might want to get on it. There might be time to figure out what some of those buttons do on the way. Those shiny, candylyke buttons...

 | | | | I pout and glare at Joris-O. No one ever lets me press any buttons.
"Isn't sharing necessary for team happiness?", I eagerly ask the rest of the team. "Therefore, friend computer must wish me to try the remote! Besides, Stu-O, wouldn't you prefer to have fun trying the remote? Friend computer DID say it would be fun. Right?" I wink at Stu-O slyly.
"Since you're so busy with your LXi, why don't you pass that to me, Joris? Please?"
Remotes are too much fun...
|
| | | | I point dramatically. "Quick! To the transbot!", and I march abord.
(I'm assuming that Jan-R was saying what she said while boarding the transbot, but if she isn't, I get her attention by pushing her aboard. We don't want a repeat of the last platform.)

"I doubt you reds are cleared to use the remote control. Besides, I don't want to have his abilities enabled right now"

| | | | I get in the transbot too! This is something that I acually don't forgot somehow... Let's say that Friend Computer does not let anyone forget the punishments, otherwise they would be... ineffective.
"Just a question, while you are right now trying to figure something with that remote controller that are supposed to control the collar around my neck, I must mention that this controller seemly has a special permission system, altough it has various colours, like our laser pistols that is the barrel that define its security clearance, I say that this controller there are no clearance needed to carry it, but clearance is needed to press each of the buttoms, so if you, RED want to try it, feel free to do so if the other ORANGE agrees, but don't ever think about touching the buttons that are not red, I am sure that others would be happy to actually terminate you for treason. But I must say, for some reason I was compelled to say that, I don't know why I said it, also I don't know what each buttom do, but I guess that they give some control over my habilities, and maybe this machine not only supress, but maybe the higher security clearance buttons can also improve my powers, and altough that would be intersting and lovely, it would be treason to use them, even if we needed. Also remember that we don't know exactly what each buttom do, and one of them might be a instantenously termination button"
While he talks with that, altough his leg is still twiching and sometimes his neck do minor twiches, he moves his arm like a politician.

A slightly belated recap
Jan-R pouts and glares at Joris-O. She really wanted to play with that remote.
To the rest of the team, she asks, "Isn't sharing necessary for team happiness? Therefore, friend computer must wish me to try the remote! Besides, Stu-O, wouldn't you prefer to have fun trying the remote? Friend computer DID say it would be fun. Right?" She can't resist a sly wink, aimed at Stu-O, as she boards the transbot.
She then asks, "Since you're so busy with your LXi, why don't you pass that to me, Joris? Please?"
(OOC: Absolutely right: remotes are fun! +1pp)
Al-R points dramatically. "Quick! To the transbot!" He proceeds to march aboard.
Joris-O boards the transbot behind him. "I doubt you reds are cleared to use the remote control. Besides, I don't want to have his abilities enabled right now."
Stu-O is the last to board, and he has something to say. "Just a question, while you are right now trying to figure something with that remote controller that are supposed to control the collar around my neck" - the transbot's doors close behind Stu-O - "I must mention that this controller seemly has a special permission system, altough it has various colours, like our laser pistols that is the barrel that define its security clearance, I say that this controller there are no clearance needed to carry it, but clearance is needed to press each of the buttoms, so if you, RED want to try it - " the transbot departs the platform - "feel free to do so if the other ORANGE agrees, but don't ever think about touching the buttons that are not red, I am sure that others would be happy to actually terminate you for treason. But I must say, for some reason I was compelled to say that, I don't know why I said it, also I don't know what each button do, but I guess that they give some control over my habilities, and maybe this machine not only supress, but maybe the higher security clearance buttons can also improve my powers, and altough that would be intersting and lovely, it would be treason to use them, even if we needed. Also remember that we don't know exactly what each button do, and one of them might be a instantenously termination button." Wouldn't that be fun, though?
He's still twitching, slightly in his neack and leg, but he has excellent control over his arms.
Turn 17
As mentioned, the transbot has left the station - this time, with everybody on board. A couple of clones boarded the bot at TYR sector - a couple of CPU clones of RED clearance. You're now in a tunnel somewhere between TYR and SUX sectors. According to the display, you have a few minutes until you get there.

 | | | | I stop smiling for a second, pouting even further than before...
I really, really wanted to try that remote.
"Joris, you are making me very close to being unhappy, therefore you are violating the team happiness code. As an orange, it is your duty to keep us Reds happy since you have more privileges. The Intsec officer has not said anything about the remote being high clearance, and we have to all know the buttons in case you die during the mission(we must face reality)."
I glance at Stu-O, wishing he had more authority over this device that controls him(I think).
|
| | | | "I concur! Ignoring for the moment, the YELLOW and GREEN buttons, we should become familliar with the device. I mean, we have both clearance and time to spare. What's the worst that could happen?"
That last line is said in a way that conveys I am fully aware that absolutely anything could potentially happen.

| | | | I sigh
"The remote control controls Stu's usage of his mutant power. So, from what I know, we could either turn his power on or off. I'd say that playing with the remote control now will only cause harm to Friend Computer property, by giving Stu-O an opportunity to use his powers against us."

| | | | I eye Joris for some time, then I say:
"So, of all reasons that you have, you are accusing me of being a traitor already? I don't even remember properly who I am, or who are you, and you are ALREADY accusing me of being a traitor... What is your problem? Give that remote to the REDs, I don't trust you, you are the one that looks like want to use that controller for treasonous things!!"

Jan-R stops smiling for a second. She becomes even more poutier than before.
"Joris, you are making me very close to being unhappy, therefore you are violating the team happiness code. As an ORANGE, it is your duty to keep us REDs happy since you have more privileges. The Intsec officer has not said anything about the remote being high clearance, and we have to all know the buttons in case you die during the mission (we must face reality)."
She glances at Stu-O, obviously thinking about the remote.
Al-R agrees: "I concur! Ignoring for the moment, the YELLOW and GREEN buttons, we should become familliar with the device. I mean, we have both clearance and time to spare. What's the worst that could happen?"
How many times have we heard that before?
Joris-O just sighs. "The remote control controls Stu's usage of his mutant power. So, from what I know, we could either turn his power on or off. I'd say that playing with the remote control now will only cause harm to Friend Computer property, by giving Stu-O an opportunity to use his powers against us."
Stu-O eyes Joris-O for some time.
He then says, "So, of all reasons that you have, you are accusing me of being a traitor already? Give that remote to the REDs, I don't trust you, you are the one that looks like want to use that controller for treasonous things!!"
Turn 18
[clatter clatter]
Your arguing has attracted the attention of the other clones on the transbot. A couple have their PDCs out, and are sending messages.
Also, a light blinks on the anti-psionic enforcer.

 | | | | I turn to one of the nearby concerned clones. "Oh, don't worry. We're not arguing. We're discussing. We put forward a point of view and then yell at each other for a bit to buy time while decide on a reasonable response. It's a perfect example of civility."
Noticing the light, I get Stu-O's attention. "Hey! Your collar thing is blinking."

| | | | I look at my own collar, and after some time I say.
"Huh... Seemly yes, the object that is around the neck that supports my beloved head is somehow blinking, seemly as a reaction to the stupid flawed accusations of Joris, but I am not feeling anything... yet... So still I can not inform you yet of what is happening."
I keep waiting to something happen to me because of the collar, also I don't ever let my eye leave Joris, specially where his hands are moving.
|
| a title is a curious thing... |
|
 | | | | I eye the blinking light eagerly. What could it mean? That Stu-O wishes to use his power? He is thinking treasonous thoughts? I want to know!
"Ummm, Joris, I think now we need to get out the remote. Blinking light equals buttons to press!"
|
| written by Megagun on Aug 18, 2009 22:33 |
| | | | I grumble.
"Fine then, but I'll keep my eye on you."
I then pick up the remote out of the backpack, place it on the floor, move back towards and wall and take out my laser pistol, pointing it at Stu-O.
"Stu-O, you have been truthfully accused of treason earlier by myself, for which Friend Computer has commended me. If you're still a treason-loving communist mutant traitor, then do note that I will not hesitate to fire upon you should you try to do something treasonous!"
