He notices the blinky light, and tells Stu-O, "Hey! Your collar thing is blinking."
Stu-O strains to look at the collar, and notes that it is indeed blinking. "Huh... Seemly yes, the object that is around the neck that supports my beloved head is somehow blinking, seemly as a reaction to the stupid flawed accusations of Joris, but I am not feeling anything... yet... So still I can not inform you yet of what is happening."
He keeps his focus on Joris-O but looks like he's waiting for something to happen.
Jan-R eyes the blinking light eagerly, wondering what it could mean. "Ummm, Joris, I think now we need to get out the remote. Blinking light equals buttons to press!"
Joris-O grumbles. "Fine then, but I'll keep my eye on you."
He takes out the remote and places it on the floor. He also pulls out his laser pistol and points it at Stu-O. "Stu-O, you have been truthfully accused of treason earlier by myself, for which Friend Computer has commended me. If you're still a treason-loving communist mutant traitor, then do note that I will not hesitate to fire upon you should you try to do something treasonous!"
Turn 19
Sensing that something is likely to happen, those clones stay where they are. It's possible that they don't agree with Al-R's assessment of the situation. Plus, there's an unknown R&D device or two thay they might want demonstrated.
Speaking of R&D devices, Stu-O's collar still has flashing lights. The first light has been joined by another.

I raise both hands, and wait, staring at Joris instead of just looking at him.
"Also I must say that you are making the entire team unhappy."

The anti-psionic enforcer lets out a shrill BEEP. Its lights all flash in a complex pattern. Then, they go out.
Jan-R looks at the rest of the team as if they're a few clones short of a Toubleshooter team. She then pouts a little at Al-R, and looks over his shoulder at the remote. "Are you sure there's only one RED button here?"
She sees an array of assorted RED, ORANGE, and YELLOW buttons, along with a solitary GREEN button off to one side. Aside from their colour, they're all unlabeled.
Joris-O swtares back at Stu-O, keeping his laser pistol trained on him at all times.
Turn 20
Those clones look a little disappointed that nothing flashy happened when Al-R pressed the button. But maybe the effects weren't all that visible?

Al-R asks, "Does anyone have anything with which we can label the button as 'stop blinky stuff'? It might be important if we find out that Stu-O explodes if he blinks too much. Well, either way, I believe it's your turn." Feigning officialness*, he hands the remote the Jan-R.
Jan-R accepts the remote and looks at it, but doesn't discover anything new.
Joris-O also remains where he is, ready to fire if something happens.

Turn 21
And indeed, something does happen... Joris-O's arm starts to twitch! [clatter] It moves erratically, as if being controlled from the outside... [clatter]
ZAP! The laser fires! [clatter...1!!] A perfect shot! [clatter clatter] The blast hits Jan-R in the leg, and goes right through the reflec! (Recall that reflec only protects against lasers of the reflec's clearance or below.) She cries out in pain and falls, a bone in her beg breaking as she does! Crack! Somehow, she keeps hold of the remote.

He charges Joris-O, [clatter] and misses by a wide margin! He slams into the wall of the transbot.
Joris-O screams, "He's used telekinesis on me! His powers are available to him again! PUSH BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE! PUSH BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE! QUICK!"
He dives at Jan-R, grabbing for the remote. She strangely offers no resistance. He holds it close to his chest and, apparently, presses a button or two.
[clatter]
Bloop-BLEEP! "Warning! Warning! Use of mutant power has been authorised! Warning! Warning!"
The enforcer lights up in response to the command from the remote.
"If we live through this," Al-R quips, "I'll never let you live down that girly scream." Whi;e saying this, he readies his laser pistol, fitting a barrel.
Turn 22
Friend Computer, apparently, isn't pating attention right now.
Someone else, however, is.
A laser is fires from somewhere in the transbot. ZAP!
It hits Jan-R in the head. She needn't worry about the broken leg any more.
Because she was just terminated by the BLUE official who walks down the transbot. From the badge on his jumpsuit, he's with IntSec.
