The planetary surfaces should be the same between NIV and NIV+. NICE changes them around, and adds a handful of additional biomes, although that breaks compatibility with data in the classic Noctis IV guide.
If you land in a coastal area in Noctis, or in an ocean, you'll often encounter an island environment. Areas surrounded by land aren't likely to be islands, though it can sometimes be difficult to differentiate between water and landmasses from the landing screen. NICE added an optional false-color terrain filter to make determining the environment type a bit easier prior to landing, although some might consider that to be less realistic.
As for deleting images from the C-disk, it's probably not necessary. The server should have plenty of space, and Noctis photos tend to be rather small, so unless you're uploading thousands of them, it probably wouldn't be of much concern. A nice benefit of using the C-disk is that it can greatly reduce the number of broken image and file links in the forum, which are likely to eventually occur when using other hosting methods. Of course, if you're uploading a sizable gallery of images all at once, off site hosting could be easier, since the C-disk makes you wait 30 seconds or so between file uploads.
Oh, and those are some nice photos, Serpens. : P

| | | | I stayed around Arcyszef for a while and, as I said, I found another felisian planet, P16. The system itself is enormous, plenty of stars which are read by stardrifter as planets and their planets as moons!!! Might be explored further, for it is very probable one can find a handful of felisians around.
I got no time to do this task for I'm decided to explore the boundaries of the galaxy. Through NM I see some explorers far from me, perhaps very near the edge, but sadly these regions (including the one where my drifter is) are not mapped yet by NM.
It's a great tool this NM and should be revived in full (chat etc), as well as upgraded to be able to handle real time updates of the drifters' positions.
One of the reasons of my search (the main one is mere curiosity): find the felisians themselves. I suspect 'The Creator' left in the manual a hint on the destiny of the felisians. My bet is that they didn't leave the galaxy. What about start the search for this hidden paradise? First of all, I'm sure, sketch the galaxy. After that, create expeditions that safely will be able to reach the points where 06s are rare.
In some posts people talk about a ring of 06s leading to one of the extremities. I can't find it in NM.

| | | | Aren't you assuming to know too many things, Walreis?
The structure of a system is always the same: a main star has planets that have moons. The structure of an S08 system is the same. Companion stars aren't really anything different from a "planet", meaning that it''s one of the main orbiting bodies. The system barycentre is always inside the main star, don't expect those system to be like real ones. So for sake of simplicity, there are only 3 type of objects: stars, planets and moons, which describe only the kind of orbit (around the star or around another object). For this reason your P16 "planet" is not a planet but a moon.
NoctisMapper has already been "revived". The only non working thing is the chat, and even when it worked it has always been read-only.
Real time updates of the drifter position? Already does it.
Your descriptions make me think you don't own the latest version of the starmap2.bin file, which is the main document that NoctisMapper uses: cd/zips/Neuzd/starmap2 (424 Kb) With that you should be able to see almost all the mapped systems and you'll spot the "S06 highways" pretty easily.
Anyways, the galaxy is twice the Milky Way in size, so don't be too surprised of unmapped regions....at present time the labeled system make up about the 0,000009% of the total stars in Feltyrion.
And I'd suggest also to spend some years reading most of the noctis related discussions present in the forum, because despite your positive attitude and enthusiasm, you're missing several basic concepts every felisian should know.

| | | | I'd simply call it severity. Among the rudeness, there are all the informations Walreis needs for the moment. | | | | |

| | | | Funny, because what I see is that among the information is all that rudeness that Walreis doesn't need for the moment. | | | | |

| | | | It's called "expressing emotions" and it helps understanding the kind of person you are talking with.
This is becoming a kind of polite flaming, Mags. I know you don't like me showing the grim face, when I feel that way, but that's eventually what I'll keep doing. It's a kind of sincerity most people have difficulty to deal with, because it's rarely requested.
I'm a "in your face" person, always have been so.

| | | | All right, fine. I'm not going to argue with you any more on this. There are so many things I'd like to say to you right now, but it would be pointless. It wouldn't help anyone with anything. | | | | |
