[L4-O-QKW-2 ] That gives us about 8 hourcycles, think that'll be long
              enough?
[Jam-Y-JYR-3] Probably, though we'll have to be careful... we *are*
planning on going to sleep at some point, aren't we? :)
Though eight hourcycles should definitely be enough for them to look around the building a little.

L4-O plans to start with the foyer.

Foyer, Building 2, Point One, [REDACTED], right now

As mentioned, it's quite small, with only the two doors and a flight of stairs leading off it. (Well, and the exit, but that doesn't count.) And now that the ligths are on, L4-O can see that the noticeboard even has a couple of faded notices -- one seemingly a dorm room allocation chart (now half hanging off the board), and the other an evacuation notice. I guess that supercedes the allocations notice, then

The table and chairs are plain and very dusty, and made of what seems to be metal.

[Speed-G-DOF-6] Huh... I just remembered we are supposed to sometimes
                report to IntSec...
[Speed-G-DOF-6] Anyone know if there is a way to tell IntSec we are in
the sim? Maybe get them to connect or something?
[Paula-O-JHP-1] Well, we *know* that it's possible to communicate with
the outside world. I contacted you guys in your first
                sim, didn't I?
[Jam-Y-JYR-3 ] But didn't you need to be in the control room to do
that? How would we open a channel *out* of the sim?
[Jam-Y-JYR-3 ] Oh wait... what about our implants?

I take a look at the evacuation notice and see what it says... if I can even read it.

I attempt to contact Nukabot to tell it to tell Computer to tell IntSec we are in the Sim...

L4-O has a closer look at the evacuation notice. (OOC: rolling: 10) Time has rendered it almost illegible, though. Only a few words remain readable to him: "radiation", "creatures", "transform", "complex"...

Speed-G thinks about sending a message and decides that Nukabbot might be their best bet. He tries sending a message to their forkbot, back in JHT Sector...

[Nukabot] I will try.
[Nukabot] I believe that Internal Security communicates between sectors.
It may take a little time, but I am certain that Internal
Security in LOL Sector will get the message.

"Huh. Something here about radation... creatures... transformation... complex."

"Maybe those creatures we encountered were transformed via radiation, then. Weird stuff..."

I move on to the next door to continue my investigation.

"Oh, hey, I didn't see you there! You must be those servingclones from that Kwik-Burger, right? It's quite the coincidence that you happen to be walking in front of me way over here in the simulation buildings! You don't have to worry though, Friend Computer has me receiving special delivered meals now, so I would have no reason to follow you whatsoever. Unless you would like to take part in a survey, that is! I'm sure I must have one here that's suitable for your profession."

I check for any food-services related surveys I might have.

From what he can read of the notice, L4-O surmises that the creatures might have become the way they are due to radiation. "Don't let Paula-O hear you say that," Jam-Y replies. "She'll just go 'I told you they were mutants!'"

Looking at the other door, L4-O finds that it leads to a short corridor that, from the doors, leads to a pair of "hygiene stations" and a laundry room. The building must have been buyilt before it became common to include a method of cleaning your jumpsuit right in the hygiene station itself.

Hmmm... either Cyrus-R hasn't noticed that these techs are in fact techs (in which case he is failing to notice his implants' labels, saying that they are indeed, TECHNICIANS), or he is ignoring it so that he can claim that they must be from Kwick Burger (in which case, he is ignoring his implants) and that he has no reason to follow them.

"Look, there's no whay we're filling in any surveys until we're done here, so go away. I warn you, I have a Form G7F0 and I'm not afraid to use it!"

Hey look, hexadecimal. I didn't know that there were hex-coded forms out in the wild... er, I mean, I totally know that.

So, unless Cyrus-R either a) wants to know what a Form G7F0 does; or b) knows how to counteract a Form G7F0, he should probably put those surveys away.

"Heh. Noted, sir."

I decide to poke down the corridor briefly to see if there's anything interesting in the "hygiene stations" and laundry room, otherwise, I return back to the foyer.

L4-O pokes around the short corridor a little, and finds that the hygiene stations seems to be in good condition, and actually have running water. Cool.

Unfortunately, the laundry room seems to have seen better days. There are laundry machines present but they do not look to be functional. The only things that might be of use are some long-abandoned uniforms, still vacuum-sealed.

"Hrm.. anyone want some old uniforms?"

I go over to inspect them.

Wondering if anyone would want an old uniform, L4-O inspects them, finding that they appear to be of a similar sort of style to those worn by the skeletons they found in the ruins, though made of a courser, but still durable, material. They also have a more military bearing, what with all being the same colour, that being that shade of green that just screams "Armed Forces". But these can't be Clearance GREEN -- that's a different, more vibrant shade.

"Hrm."

I decide to stow the uniforms away for now, and move on to investigate the stairs.

When no-one decides to claim a uniform, L4-O just decides to take them all and move on. Next stop, the foyer!

Once he arrives, L4-O immediately heads for the stairs.

Once there, a quick investigation shows that the dorm has three additional levels, each with two rooms. One door on Level 2 is open; though the room beyond remains somewhat dark at the end, it is clearly a dormitory. The beds and furniture look to be in reasonable condition despite their apparent age, though the mattresses are another story.

I head over to the room with the open door and check that out first in more detail, if there's anything interesting at all to see.

I look around to see what is going on, what other clones are doing while I am waiting for Nukabot and IntSec?
