I start to drift off already, unless interrupted by something else.

Cyrus-R vaguely acknowledges while looking aroun foir the source of the voice while the screen starts a slow scroll through a list of names. As it happens, there's a RED clone at the door carrying a Deliver-It box. "I have a delivery for you," she replies. "I just need a tongueprint, that's all..."

Oh, and as for the scroll of names, Cyrus-R doens't seem to be among them...

Almost immediately, L4-O starts to fall asleep. These sofas really are comfortable...

Seeing this, Speed-G gives in and chooses as sofa himself. Wow, that's comfortable... is this... GREEN comfort...?

He should be asleep in no time, unless he's one of those clones who absolutely needs to be in a bed to sleep...

"Wow! Crossing my digits really worked! My very own delivery!"

I hurry over to the doorway, and slurp the tongueprint reader, noting its flavor.

While names continue to scroll themselves slowly down the screen, Cyrus-R sets about securing his package from Deliver-It. This is quite the painless experience, unless their tongueprint reader hasn't been cleaned todaycycle. This is one of those times.

But once Cyrus-R has finished slobbering all over the thing, the courier answers, "Thanks, citizen. Here's your package. Enjoy!" And with that, she hands Cyrus-R his box and leaves.

Soon, the dromroll from the screen finishes with a brief fanfare. "That concludes the list of Fourth Prize winners," the bot states. "Commencing Third Prize draw in three... two... one." The screen switches back to its random letters and numbers, and the drumroll starts once again.

"Excellent!" Sarah-Y replies. "If you saw your anme on the screen, you just won a free clone! If you see your name on the screen this time, you wiull have won not one, but three clones!"

It seems that Speed-G isn't one of those cclones who needs a bed to sleep. (Nor is he a CloneServ Lottery winner, but that's hardly surprising, given that he chose to buy his extra clones directly instead of enter the lottery.) He soon nods off.

Seeing this, other clones start choosing sofas and soon, everyone is asleep...

* * *

Several hourcycles later, clones start to wake up... it's much brighter outside now.

But something seems... a bit weird. Is it because you've just spent several hourcycles asleep while still hooked up to the sim? Or something else?

I stir, and if I sense something weird, I try to look around and identify what could... be weird.

L4-O wakes up to find Lucas-O looking around and yawning. He senses something weird, to...

(OOC: rolling: 6)

Then it hits him: normally, you wake up to The Computer's morningcycle announcement. You know, "At the tone, it will be 06:00 on [date]. Good morning citizens," played at a volume guaranteed to wake you up. But that hasn't happened... and there's more. There is usually the distinct scent of Wakey-Wakey and other morningcycle stimulants (including coffee, if you're of sufficient clearance) in the air when you wake up. But not this time...

...you know, it might not even be 06:00...

"Oh.. uh oh, what time is it?"

I look around, but then remember I can just... check my implant for the time.

L4-O starts looking round for a clock or something before realising that he has one in his implants' "desktop". See? It's right there in the dock...

... wait a minute. 31:01? That doesn't look right...

But if it is, then... it would mean that the team has slept for... how long? Did anyone notice the time when they went to sleep?

"Erm... any idea when we went to sleep? I have no idea how long we've been asleep."

"Oh wait, maybe we could ask our bot?"

L4-O doesn't, at least. He asks if anyone has any idea.

(OOC: rolling: 5)

"I think it was some time past 20:00..." Paula-O answers. "So that means we've been asleep for... wait, what? My implant's clock has gone weird...

"But even then, it'd be about ten hourcycles, if this thing is corrrect..."

"That tongueprint reader tasted like tongues! Hmm..."

Noting the next drawing has begun for triple the clones, I triple-cross my digits, or maybe just cross three times the digits while intently watching the screen as I attempt to simultaneously open my newly-delivered package.

"Huh... yeah, my clock is weird too. Not sure what that's about. Might just be some weird interaction with the sim, we can probably report that at some point."

I get up and start assessing the situation, going to see if there are windows here I can look out of.

The Deliver-It clone has of course gone, but Cyrus-R of course can't help but think out loud about that tongueprint reader, wasting precious secondcycles while on the vidscreen, the choosebot's vidscreen starts to clear up and show actual names once again.

Cyrus-R starts crossing his fingers -- three of them this time -- while simultaneously trying to watch the vidscreen and open his package. It's quite difficult, as it turns out, to do all three at once, since opening a package ususally needs both hands and at least half an eye... (OOC: rolling: 2) but Cyrus-R manages it anyway. If he wants to see what the pachage is, though, he'll have to look away from the screen, which is now showing names, none of which are his.

L4-O isn't sure what to amke of the clokck weirdness. Maybe it's a side-effect of them being in a sim? If so, they should probably report it when they finish up.

In the meantime, he can at least get up and size up their situation; right now that means looking out of the windows -- yes, there are windows, and they even have glass in them. From what he can see the outside is clear.

But he becomes aware that he has some internal things that need to be taken care of; nothing sim-related, just the usual -- hygiene, food, drink, probably more hygiene...
