I found a planet which Noctis lists as "dusty, craterized, no atmosphere"; but when I went to the surface, everything was completely flat and behaved like water! (bobbing view, waves etc.)

The parsis coordinates are:
4066396; 719160; -939651
It's the first planet in the system.

I doubt it's something new, but I want to know what you know about that.

(I think I posted this in the wrong forum... bleh.)

Maybe it is sand dunes?

Can we have coordinates of your landing?

I think you landed in a region where it's all molten rock, though with the several landings I tried I didn't find any.

I bet it's just water. The view oscillates up and down when you're swimming.

... On the other hand, a planet without an atmosphere AND with water shouldn't be usual...

This really never happens.

On the other hand, here's a visual confirmation of what I was talking about:

I probably took this pic on NICE, though, so it would be useful if someone can confirm that this can happen also in regular NIV, until Vaiyt answers us.

I think that's lava. Really hot planets in NICE tend to have that.

If I remember right, if they have the right temperature, they can have a mixture of lava and solid land.

Oh. The NICE version... oh well.

Yes, it was NICE. Thanks for the information.

I thought you were playing NIV.
At least the outbox you sent was from the regular version.

I don't think you tricked the system to have a normal outbox being generated, can you please confirm this?

I have both vanilla Noctis and NICE working separately. I sent a vanilla outbox first, then later I got NICE and sent another.

I was a complete n00b and unsure of how fast the inboxes were updated, so I sent an inbox as soon as I made my first batch of interesting discoveries.

The NICE starmap isn't updated anymore.
I don't remember where those should have been sent (probably at Megagun's website, and I guess you did that, because it seems you didn't use the 'tell us' form for this last outbox), though as I said, NICE isn't supported anymore.

Yeah, I was told that.
