About NoctisMapper: do you still use it?
14 members voted in this poll so far
yes, I still use NoctisMapper
no, I don't use NoctisMapper
Since I switched the hosting service from ez-web to this VPS, I didn't upload the noctismapper's support script (it's a script that centralizes the records of the positions of various drifters, as sent by NoctisMapper). If anyone may be still using NoctisMapper, the application won't be able to track the other drifters until I reupload the support script.

The reason why I didn't, so far, is that this new server is given the most up-to-date packages, and will be kept so to avoid potential security problems with older versions of server-side sowftare. BUT, php5 has a few backward-incompatibilities that affect the NoctisMapper's support script, which I'd therefore have to "refit" for use with php5. This wouldn't take much time, but still *some* time. To determine whether it would be worth the effort, I'm opening this poll to see how much people still use NoctisMapper. I'd assume at least two "yes" votes would be needed to consider adapting the script.

Not only I use NoctisMapper, I keep supporting it!!

In fact, there are other 2 online scripts that operate with NM, but they're hosted at my website.
If Peek is ok with it (he seems to login frequently in the last days), I can handle the classic script too.

Most importantly about this poll, I also keep updating the starmap2 every time there's a new inbox update, and I'm particularly proud of my latest efforts, as only 15 systems are lacking parsis coordinates now.

I submitted a 'yes', though only sporadically. It can be nice to see where other drifters are, or have been. Isn't that script superseded by the one at Neuzd's site anyway? I seem to recall the original only tracking online users, while the newer one retains the positions of offline users as well.

I said "yes", but that's only about as often as I use Noctis itself. I will on occasion, but nowhere near as often as before.

So, am I collecting "yes" answers while Neuzd may however provide the mapper's server-side functionality? If that's the case, I'd happily leave the work to Neuzd.

it isn't exclusively lazyness, it'd be also good to remove some (albeit negligible) load from this server, and a script for me to maintain and keep eyes on
