And today I waked up in such a mood that makes me feel it was just the right thing to do: when society around expects one to get himself into a schematic kind of life, then it's a perfectly sane wish to never leave the state of mind of when you were 14. I always tended to feel I was wrong, and tried to fix the problem, but the problem was all around, arising from others' suggestions and examples I could never really force me into imitating.

| | | | I take child-like delight in the simplest things, but consider many things deeper than the typical pondering adult.
Alex, I've never felt bound to how people expect me to be, and I don't make efforts to fit in unless it is in a way that is part of me. All the same, I do consider how others feel about things. (Poor example: I don't go to my artsy friends and run my yap about deep maths even though I love to talk about math.) I think being home-schooled for 6 years has helped me to not fall victim to the System. It makes it harder for me sometimes because many people in the System can't socialize with people outside the System. But I'm right where I want to be.
Personally, I'd love to get married and have a family though. But I'm content for it to not be so. And I don't think the typical female could stand my unconventionality.

As you probably know from the blog, I have a conflict there: one part wishes to conform, the other won't submit. Today, in the first part of the day, the rebel won, but this evening (after an afternoon spent with people who expect me to behave "normally") it looks like the conformist enjoyed some revenge. All these rapid changes in attitude turn out to be quite stressing. Since at least five years ago, my greatest wish is becoming "a single thing" out of two opposite poles.

Don't bother with the typical, anyway. They're boring. That said, when I said we are all geeks, that implies a type of typicality. So ignore what I just said
