I was wondering, if from any youtube video you can go visiting related videos until you end in a hitler video...
What you people think?
Should we start a game on that?
There would have to be some rule to it though, similar to the philosophy one from XKCD. Where you visit the first link on the page.
Not that that would work with youtube. The first suggested videos would end in a loop most of the time.

Maybe the fifth video?
and thank you for remembering me my reference XD
(I was sure there was a thing like that from wikipedia for a certain word, but I was not remembering where I saw that)

Maybe, the first video in the suggestions sidebar that has an 'H' in the name.
If you get caught in a loop, the second video is permitted.
"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."
In other words, Godwin observed that, given enough time, in any online discussion—regardless of topic or scope—someone inevitably criticizes some point made in the discussion by comparing it to beliefs held by Hitler and the Nazis."
It's just true.

Probably by the time someone mistypes something and a wild grammar nazi appears.
I believe the word "Nazi" should be capitalised. Please get your spelling straight before starting an argument.
...why yes, you're right!

Yep- discovered that term earlier this week, too. Something to do with a review of the Doctor Who episode 'Let's Kill Hitler'.
ah didn't learn anything!

Really though, as a conversation grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving any given subject approaches one. Unless the conversation just keeps repeating the same information over and over, every topic will come up eventually, given enough time.
Quite. But then again, people have a tendency to bring up the topic of Hitler faster than say...the optimal alkalinity of soil to encourage the growth of blue Hydrangeas.

As a conversation in Frespych grows longer, the probability of ponies being mentioned approaches one hundred.

probability [...] approaches one hundred.

Probabilities range from 0 to 1. There is no way one can approach one hundred.
Though the probabilities of both larynges and ponies being mentioned in Frespych is pretty high.

Oh? I guess I was thinking in terms of 0%-100%. Heh, my mistake... you have hit the nail on the head about common discussion topics in the chat frame though!
