Pity this forum isn't exatly textmode friendly.

Soooooo cramped at 80x25...

Good thing I have an 80x50 virtual terminal available...

And here I am trying to keep the load average on this thing down below 0.1.

But no longer. I've installed X.

So don't go complaining to me if the MUSH is slow.

And to finish off, I installed Phoenix.

Oh, verily. Now your computer has more chances to crash horribly and lose my beautiful house.

X has been on the machine a couple of days now. The only side-effect seems to be an increased load average, up from 0.09 over 15 minutes to 0.19 over 15 minutes. That's when doing nothing else... with Phoenix in use it goes to about 0.5 or 0.6 :p

By Parsis! You'll probably need to install several new coolers to keep it at that insane rate now! :p

When I compile something, the load average even goes as high as 4
