It's not different for software, and the ESA (Formerly IDSA) seems to think that it should be enforced, and that downloads of old DOS games are stealing sales from companies who aren't selling the game anyways.

Of course, they probably are, to a degree. For instance, downloads of SimCity 2000 are probably stealing sales of SimCity 4 - In any event, 4 is ridiculously hard with no difficulty settings, so I wouldn't buy it anyways. I didn't like 3000 much either, so when I want to play SimCity, I load up 2000. But forced obsolescence is a bad thing anyways. If it works, don't break it and force the customer to buy a newer version.

You know the bottom two are like... never used, and one of them only SC can post in.

Yeah... after some consideration, maybe this should be posted in member's projects or something. It might be useful in future, though, if more Postlīnes are set up.

____Garlic = Rich Air

It is the year 2030 and Garlic has become the new currency after the crash. After the net.
Sell your website and, if it still is worth anything earn G.

Sell your website for vitual G. Determine the value, shares and pricing per share for your URL(s). Trade them on the G-mart. Clickstream data sets the G-mart in constant fluctuation. SELL, BUY, OWN and RESELL.

The online G-mart opens on June 12 and closes on October 30, 2030. At the time of the market closure the exchange rate between earned virtual G and REAL GARLIC is calculated and converted. Your accumulated virtual G may be redeemed for oganically farm grown GARLIC BULBS.

Hey, I've been to that site quite a few times before. It's a pretty good site. Although, I could never create anything good, it was fun moving the gravity bar up and down quickly... haha.

Yeah, I discovered that a long, long time ago and even contributed some things. I suck at it though, I never could create anything uber complex. The most fun thing is looking at other peoples creations. Then destroying them.

Don't know how many people know about this, but on DeviantArt there are tutoring groups for both drawing and writting:

There you can get a personal tutor to help improve your skills!

I must try that when/if I start doing some CG painting work again...

Hm, yeah, about nerual nets, I have been checking a few sites lately. Here are a few introductory examples:

Introduction to Neural Networks
Be sure to check out the Recog program there.

Neural Network on a Commodore 64
Shows code in BASIC to program a simple neural net on your own C64 ;D

Programming Neural Networks in Java
Very complete guide about neural net AI's (and with code example in java)
