Okay, to make the first Culture Club exclusive, I think I'll tell you about the Sofia Coppola movie Lost In Translation.

It rocks.

I'll tell you more later, but I have some business to attend to.

congratulations with creating a new forum, RJ! You rock! Even though you're part redskin.

I have yet to see this film.

But I was watching the Oscars and I thought to my self.

"Wow Sofia Coppola really looks like she belongs in Hollywood. I tell you it's the face."

It's a fantastic not-quite-love story about two people who meet eachother just when they need eachother the most. It's inherantly sweet and very funny. I haven't laughed like that in a cinema in a long time.

There's not really a lot going on in this picture, but it's more what's going on inbetween the goings on, if you know what I'm going on about...

Oh yeah, and you rock too, Vib. Even though your stupid red face contradicts me.

Isn't she rather living in New York, far from L.A., like any typical trendy american artist ?

not so much a movie as visual poetry...great...who knew Murray could be so good???
written by Overtilt on Mar 27, 2004 10:39
I'll answer that: Anyone who's seen Groundhog's Day.
written by Voumtak on Mar 28, 2004 00:52
yes, "groundhog day" was a step up from "stripes" (not that I have anything against "stripes") (or "meatballs" for that matter), but "lost in translation" was really something different for Murray, at least I think so. less snotty, less assured, more believable and bloody great acting...
