| | | | I need to get hold of Battle Royal I saw it when I was 15 and about to take a exam in Lord of the Flies. I like being creative with my excuses. But however I am wondering when 2 will come out. It would be a shame if it doesn't get a relase. I've been thinking of getting the book and I saw the Manga in SF and as a little confused about that.
Edit: I mean a uk subtitled release on DVD. It came out in Japan the middle of last year, I saw a review of it and a few interviews on various late night programs.

| | | | Good thing we have the Coen brothers and Jean Pierre Jeunet to give us original screenplays. | | | | |

| | | | I'm kind of surprised you didn't mention Sofia Coppola.
I want to see that movie...

| | | | Heh. Well, she doesn't have a history of making good original screenplays. She made Lost in Translation, but Coen and Jeunet made LOADS of them! | | | | |

However, Ginja_ninja, if you liked Battle Royale, go rent any movie by Takashi Miike.

| | | | Well, yeah. Delicatessen, for example. Wonderful film. Inexpliccably, it turns into a feelgood film, despite the plot in itself. Jeunet was always good at creating fabulous characters. | | | | |

| | | | Sofia Coppola, shes in a Tim Burton film you know? | | | | |

| | | | going back to Ring, I saw it (the original) whilst very stoned with my brother and a friend very late at night. The exact moment it finished, the phone rang, and we were all so confused and anxious from the film, that none of us dared answer. It only rang once.
Luckily, we found out it was another friend who suddenly thought better of ringing up at 4.30 in the morning!

When I was younger, I usually waited for the called person to pick up the phone so that I could tell him I couldn't sleep.
(Noone wants to be my friend anymore, though)
