Let's go slowly here. D-Fend Reloaded, while it is a nice piece of work for running DOS games (I have it on one of my computers for the few that I play with once in a while) is basically a GUI shell for DOSBox, I believe, 0.74. Which, upon review it appears they don't apply it to DOSBox SVN Daum, which appears to have a better interaction with 64 bit- at least it works faster and less jerky. (Maybe it can be applied? After all it's just a GUI shell.)
So what I say here applied to the SVN version. But try it anyway. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
You will have to change where you run the Noctis.exe file (copy or move from "Modules" folder first) to the main ("Noctis") folder. Adjust your D-Fend launch file accordingly so it finds Noctis.exe in the main folder.
DOSBox has a problem finding executables in the subfolders. I had the problem that it wouldn't save my new position (or save snapshots) until I moved the Noctis.exe file. It most likely will require that you also move/copy the executables from the "Modules" folder to the "Noctis" folder for the same reason.
At least that's how it works for me.
